ABLE Network Media Group LLC ("Company", "we", "us", or "our") operates the ABLE: Green mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information when you use our App.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information:
- Account Information: When you register, we collect your email address and username. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google.
- Profile Information: You may choose to provide a profile photo and bio.
- Identity Verification Data: If you choose to verify your identity, our third-party provider (Didit) collects a selfie, images of your government-issued ID, and biometric data for liveness detection. We store only the verification status (verified/not verified), not the underlying documents or biometrics.
- Location Data: We collect your device's location (with your permission) to show nearby gardens and listings. When adding a garden, you can choose whether to display your precise location publicly or keep it hidden. Note: Even when set to "hidden," your location is still used to calculate proximity for the "Nearby" feed—it is simply not displayed to other users on the map.
- Photos: When you upload photos for your garden or listings, we store them on our servers.
- Usage Data: We collect information about how you interact with the App to improve our services.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the App's features.
- Show you nearby listings and gardens.
- Facilitate messaging between users.
- Process subscription purchases (via RevenueCat, which uses Google Play Billing).
- Send you important service updates.
3. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Supabase: For authentication and data storage.
- Google Sign-In: For authentication. When you sign in with Google, Google receives information per their privacy policy.
- Apple Sign-In: For authentication on iOS. When you sign in with Apple, Apple provides us with your name and email (or a private relay email if you choose to hide your address). See Apple's privacy policy for details.
- RevenueCat: For managing in-app subscriptions.
- Didit: For identity verification. Didit collects selfies, government ID images, and biometric data to verify your identity. See Didit's privacy policy for details.
- OpenStreetMap Services: For displaying maps and location search:
- flutter_map: For rendering map tiles.
- Photon (Komoot): For location search. Your search queries and coordinates are sent to photon.komoot.io.
- Nominatim (OpenStreetMap): For reverse geocoding (converting coordinates to addresses).
- Overpass API: For finding nearby public meeting points (cafes, libraries, parks).
These services have their own privacy policies governing their use of your data.
4. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data during transmission using HTTPS. On mobile devices, sensitive data such as authentication tokens is stored using encrypted secure storage.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
You can delete your account at any time from within the App (Profile > Edit Profile > Delete Account). When you delete your account, we will delete your profile, listings, and messages. Some data may be retained for legal or operational purposes as described by law.
6. Your Choices
- Location: You can enable or disable location permissions in your device settings.
- Location Visibility: When creating a garden, you can choose to hide your precise location from other users while still appearing in "Nearby" results.
- Camera/Microphone: Access to camera and microphone is requested when you upload images or complete identity verification (for liveness detection).
- Identity Verification: Verifying your identity is optional. You can use the App without completing verification.
7. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date" above.
